After visiting Yarra Glen there are a number of scenic drives to get you to your destination. Follow the Melba Highway to Yea or take the back road to Healesville either way you won’t be disappointed.

Over 250 different chocolates containing fruits and nuts picked from their own orchard and herbs from their own kitchen garden, locally sourced milk and the best quality Belgian couverture chocolate and cocoa butter. Yarra Valley Chocolatier offer tastings and workshops as well as a variety of different events throughout every month of the year.
Yarra Valley Dairy - 70-80 Mc Meikans Road, Yering – Open 10:30am – 5:00pm 364 Days a Year. Renowned for producing award-winning fresh, soft cheeses made in distinctly Italian and French styles. The cheese shop is located in the original 100 year old milking shed on the farm, right beside the cheese factory. Tastings of fresh handmade cheeses and some of the 60 locally produced wines are available. They stock a range of delicious regional and specialist produce, including award winning jams and relishes, beautiful homewares and gift ideas are also on offer. Cheese plates are accompanied by locally baked fresh breads and various regionally produced charcuterie items also available. Wines, ciders and beers from neighbouring wineries and breweries are available to purchase as well as great coffee, tea, biscuits and regionally produced ice cream.
Alowyn Gardens – 1210 Melba Highway, Yarra Glen – Open 10:00am to 5:00pm 7 Days a Week. “Alowyn Gardens” purpose is to provide an informative and educational experience for those interested not only in garden but also the enjoyment of a beautiful garden. There are a variety of different styles of gardens and wonderful outdoor café and much more.

The first vignerons in Victoria set themselves up in the cool climate of the Yarra Valley in the 1830s, planting grapes such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon.
